Create a new test
HRStop Hire lets you create a new test for a job position and customize the test rules to your requirements. You can also manage the question patterns to design a better test. To create a new test:
Navigate to Tools (in the menu bar) → Assessments → Test.
Click + New (in the page action bar) to add a new test.
The page that opens is divided into two sections (Configure tests and Manage questions).
Go to the Configure tests section, where you configure the rules of the test.
Enter the Title of the test.
Enter the Duration of the test in minutes.
Enable or disable Proctoring. When enabled, the system captures images of the candidate while they take the online test.
- You can make proctoring mandatory. The candidate then needs a webcam to take the test. If the image can't be captured, the candidate won't be able to take the test.
Optionally, auto-submit the test when the candidate moves focus away from the test the selected number of times.
Optionally, randomize the order of the questions shown to candidates.
Select the Question View (multiple page/single page).
Enter the test Instructions for the candidate.
Click Save (at the bottom of the page).
Go to the Manage questions section, where you design the question pattern.
To add a section of questions, click +Add Section (below the Manage questions tab).
- A dialogue box asks for the Title, Duration and Description of the new section. Click Save.
